En pleno confinamiento, Enrique Gálvez, banquero del Banco Futuro, averigua que está en la lista de posibles imputados por una operación corrupta del banco. No puede creer en la posibilidad de ir a la cárcel: solo hizo lo que quería la Presidenta de Banco Futuro, Carmen Dávila, quien está buscando una cabeza de turco. Cuando más desesperado está, recibe la llamada providencial de Silvia Rojas, una científica activista y cooperante en varias fundaciones que quiere llevar a España cuatro robots de tecnología americana para hacer tests PCR mucho más rápido, pero cuestan 4.000.000 de euros y están en China.
