Los Gavilanes
Juan the Indian returns rich and powerful to his people after conquering the Americas. In her memory there is the figure of Adriana, the love of her youth, who finally married a mature man to save her family from a serious economic problem and became the mother of a girl, Rosaura. When Juan meets Adriana again, he is disenchanted to see how his image of his ideal love has been eroded by the passage of time. Capricious and cruel fate will cause history to repeat itself when Juan, blinded by his fortune and his power, meets Rosaura, a living reflection of his mother, but who is twice his age.
