AIDA, VIII Residencia de Lírica Ruperto Chapí
Aida, an Ethiopian princess, is captured and taken to Egypt as a slave. A military commander, Radames, struggles to be torn between his love for her and his loyalty to the Pharaoh. Radames finds himself the object of the Pharaoh’s daughter Amneris’ love, though he does not reciprocate her feelings, leading to an abrupt end for all.
