An album of never-before-seen World War II photos is sent to Rebecca Erbelding, the archives director at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The photos show the officers who ran Auschwitz, the deadliest concentration camp in human history. As Rebecca delves into these images, a shocking story emerges: how do we live everyday life next to a death camp? Soon, the images begin to appear on the front pages of newspapers around the world.
