Strauss Festival Orchestra of Kishinau was formed in 2000 with musicians from Central Europe and former Eastern Europe. Founded by director Eusebiu Sandu and made up of teachers and soloists of the highest musical and professional qualifications, the Strauss Festival Orchestra has been able to keep alive the typically Viennese artistic expressions, arousing the interest of the most demanding audiences on the continent. Without forgetting the jovial and festive spirit that animates the music of the Strauss family, the stylistic rigor with which this orchestra usually approaches its interpretations manages to bring out throughout the show the most varied range of expressive resources, from the most noble and sentimental to the most playful and humorous. In this Christmas of 2024/2025, he performs a festive program where some of the most beautiful waltzes and polkas of the Strauss family will not be missing, but at the same time we will have the beautiful voices of two young singers, Chiara Salerno, soprano from Sicily, and the Baritone Carlos Reinoso from Ciudad de México, both currently residing in Europe and winners of prestigious International Competitions. The musical director Dumitru Carciumaru, of the National Opera of Kishinau, and guest conductor in Operas Brasov, Iasi, Bucharest, Athens, and the Strauss Festival Orchestra. Throughout their career they have performed all over Europe and in the most important theaters and auditoriums in Spain.
