El Trovador

Along with La Traviata and Rigoletto, Il Trovatore remains one of Verdi’s most performed and famous operas worldwide. The plot takes place in the gloomy atmosphere of 15th century Spain and tells the romantic love story of Leonora and her troubadour Manrico. An opera full of love and hate, heroism and revenge. We can highlight the presence of a powerful chorus very present in this work and the participation of the Opera 2001 Symphony Orchestra with musicians from the Valencian Community.
