Jerusalem
St George’s Day in a town that has been hosting the county fair since that morning. Johnny Byron the Rooster is the most hated man in town. The authorities want to evict him to build a new housing estate. But everyone comes to his woodland caravan for drugs and booze and his ex-wife asks him to spend the day with their son. El Gallo is a dangerous and magnetic pied piper. Rebel, madman, poet, clown, magician, camel, drunkard, ogre, giant, romantic and insubordinate. Johnny Byron is Jerusalem and Jerusalem is Johnny Byron.
