La bella durmiente, Ballet Clásico Internacional
Sleeping Beauty, premiered in St. Petersburg in 1890, is a grand ballet with three grand palace parties: the presentation of the newborn Princess Aurora, her 16th birthday and her wedding, plus the precious sleeping act. The evil witch Carabos predicts that the Princess will prick herself and die, but the Lilac Fairy changes this into a dream. One hundred years later, Prince Desiree’s kiss will wake her up. At her wedding alongside the kings, courtiers and fairies we will see the most famous characters from Charles Perrault’s tales: Cinderella and the Prince, Puss in Boots and his Cat, Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, the Bluebird and Princess Florina, and the protagonists will dance their famous pas de deux.
