Lost letters

Lost Letters is the first and highly acclaimed work of Lucía Lacarra Ballet, a company made up of ten dancers led by Lucía Lacarra herself – an artist with an international career and winner of the Max Award for best performer – together with Matthew Golding, who was previously a dancer with the Royal Ballet in London. Based on lost letters written by soldiers since the war, this elegant show fuses cinematic images with beautiful neoclassical-inspired choreography to the sound of romantic melodies by Sergei Rachmaninov and Max Richter, to tell us a story of love cut short by circumstances and make us reflect on the real capacity for communication that letters had, now that contact has become so easy and immediate.
