Mercado de amores is a comedy written by Eduardo Galán from the fusion of three original plays by Plautus: El mercader, Cásina and La comedia de los asnos and starring Pablo Carbonell.
The young Erotia, daughter of Pamphilus, the richest merchant in Rome, must return home after three years in Athens doing business for the family firm. During her stay she has fallen in love with her beautiful slave, Carino. So that his father doesn’t suspect anything, she decides to dress him up as a woman and present him as her slave, which triggers a thrilling action of entanglements and conflicts… Come and see!
